Unique family run venture in the heart of Norfolk offering affordable events.

Our beautiful countryside views and barns create a perfect setting for your special day, whether it’s a small gathering or a big celebration. Our dedicated team is here to help make your dream wedding come true.

We were inspired to offer our Norfolk barn as a wedding venue after our daughter Madeleine got married here last May 2023. We have worked hard to renovate the barn so we can open it to other couples for a truly unique event that everyone will remember.

We are only open from late April to September. During that time, we will only offer one couple per month. This ensures we can give all our time to each event. We can bring your wedding ideas to life, just let us know what you have been dreaming of.

Brakehill Barns will offer exclusive hire so your friends and family can relax for the whole weekend.

You are welcome to stay all 3 nights, but as we are blocking the entire site for your weekend we must cover the costs of all accommodation what would normally be available for hire.

We are also pleased to be able to hire our Orangery in the main house for brides and bridesmaids to get ready which is very pretty (see photos). It will mean you have access to an indoor bathroom if required and a patio for photos before the big event.

For 2025 and onwards we will have an annex that will be available to hire for guest accommodation – more on this going forward.

You are very welcome to come and set up during the week before the event. We can also help with advice on bar supplies from local breweries, table and chair hire, florists, caterers, bar staff, photographers, videographer, extra toilet hire, DJ, and anything else you need.

We hired a large tipi for our Prosecco bar (see photo), this is highly recommended and was a lovely place for shade.

If you need help with planning and coordination I am happy to help but there will be a cost associated with this. Please ask for details.
